In Passing offers the reader the chance to explore the question we’ve all asked ourselves, “What happens after you die?” The result is surprising. It captivates the audience with the idea of ongoing interaction between those with physical bodies and those who have already passed. Hewitt’s characters are intriguing and endearing. It left me wanting to know more about them. Both thought provoking and an easy read, this book is one I will revisit.
This book is quite amazing, so many parts of this book resonated with me on a spiritual level, and made me feel at peace. It is a warm and heartfelt reminder that there is no real "death", that Spirit is always there, helping us along our journey, and that our loved ones, who have passed on, are always right there with us. This is definitely a book that I intend to read over and over again. Inspirational.
'In Passing' by Tobie Hewitt is a thought-provoking story that explores questions we often have about life, death, and how we find those soul mates we know we're meant to be with. The characters are just gorgeous, and the struggles they face are ones that the reader can easily identify with.
This delightful book opens with one of the best opening lines I've read in a long time "The air shimmered with a knowing beyond doubt." That line really made me stop and think, and visualise scenes where this could have been the case. From that moment, I was fully engaged with the story and completely hooked by Tobie Hewitt's writing.

A quick, uplifting read that makes you stop, and ponder, how fun it might be on the other side of the universe. Especially meaningful if you've lost a loved one and pine for a connection from above. Great gift idea for the holidays!
