what an array of emotion in these books. touching on so many experiences in life with an outcome of peace and fulfillment. I was most impressed with the authors incite and resolution of all of the different challenges the characters faced and resolved also showing the result of the inability to get resolution was well. very much enjoyed this series and look forward to reading more by this author.
Great YA read. Keeps your interest the entire time from the first book to the last book in the series. Highly recommend.
I have finished the first 3 books in the To Know Me Series, and cannot wait to read the conclusion, To Choose Me! The story of Mae and the issues she's dealt with, show a girl who has suffered serious heartache and sorrow at a very young age. The books walk the reader through her mind and the pain she's felt, while also getting to know the two young men in her life who offer a light in her life as she heals. The books take interesting twists and turns that change your opinion of some of the characters. I'm truly excited and anxious to read the final book in this series!
The author, Marcy, explores the gamut of emotions with this set. They're very well thought out, and I understood every..single..emotion! It's so very easy to fall into self blame for tragedies surrounding your personal life. It's very easy to idealize a person who accepts your faults and persuades you to take a more far sighted view of occurrences. It's hard to really realize that they're people too, with faults of their own. It's hard to say goodbye, and it can be hard to open up again.

SO well worth the read. Get the set. You won't be sorry!
I love these books! Once I started reading I didn't want to stop.
I highly recommend purchasing the set and reading it either all together or read one section a day/seating. I found that as you flowed from one section to the next you were experiencing a journey that build to the end with understand and fulfillment. I felt as if I really had the opportunity to get to know the character. I was able to experience the ups and downs in her life. I felt her pain. I was able to put myself in her shoes.

This was not your typical young adult read. It was a combination of young adult bridging to new adult. There is more here than one would expect. You will not be disappointed in the journey that will be experienced within Mae.

Come take a load off your feet in a comfy location and enjoy all To Know Me box set has to offer to you the next reader.
I did not receive these books as a box set as I read them as soon as the author was releasing each book. However, I would definitely say that the price for this set of 4 books is most definitely worth it. I have left reviews of each of the books individually, but I will repost the last two here as well so that anyone who is considering the purchase can see why I think this is such a good deal.

Book 3 To Forgive Me
This third book in the series admittedly threw me for a bit of a loop in some ways. I truly loved Ty as a character in the first two books and the changes in his character and the changes in the relationship between Mae and Ty truly broke my heart. I understood how Mae felt and knew that much of Ty's behavior was wrong on many, many levels, but I hated seeing him lose pretty much his whole support system besides his parents and one friend. I wish that more had been done to salvage the friendship between Mae and Ty, but I never saw many of Ty's problems coming until they hit me in the face. On the other hand, I do love Matt. He is sweet, fun, and probably much more of what Mae needs in her life. In fact, I think Ty needs a female version of Matt in his life to support him through his troubles. I wasn't really surprised by what Matt was hiding. I figured it was something along those lines since all hints pointed in that direction. I was a little surprised at Mae's reaction to his secrets though as I could completely understand why he had been making the decisions he had and only partially understood Mae's reaction. Of course, that is looking from the outside, in so it is much easier to look at it objectively on my own side. Overall, a great, short addition to the series and I am excited to read the conclusion next.

Book 4 To Choose Me
I was sad to see the final book in this series simply because I think there is more to be told with all of these characters. I wish we would have a peek at more of Mae and Matt's future as well as what the future holds for Leo, Ty, and Carmen. I guess I just want to know if they all end up with some version of happily ever after or if they later recognize some of their mistakes for what they were. Otherwise, I was happy to see how the situation between Matt and Mae was resolved and know what became of Kelcy and her family. I was also happy to see Mae's mom moving forward with her life after all the tragedy that she and Mae had endured over the last several years. Both of them deserved to move forward, enjoy happiness, while loving and being loved in return.
